IQVIA is seeking a Local Trial Manager (m/w/d) to lead clinical trials across Austria in a home-based role. The candidate will manage budgets, vendor contracts, and study progress while ensuring GCP compliance and patient safety.

Oncology expertise and German (C1) plus English are essential. The role requires 5+ years in clinical research, including local trial management, with the ability to work virtually and travel occasionally.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or higher-level degree in life science.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO plus 1-3 years of local clinical trial management experience.
• Therapeutic area expertise in Oncology is a must.
• Strong working knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Fluent German (C1) and good command of English.

Aufgaben

• Ensure SOPs, GCP, local regulatory requirements are followed.
• Prepare and manage budgets and ESP contracts; ensure services delivered per contract.
• Act as primary country contact and monitor progress and enrolment.
• Maintain trial management systems; participate in inspections and QA audits.
• Contribute to site-level recruitment strategies and contingency planning.
• Deliver vendor management at country level and assist in vendor selection.
• Review country-specific informed consent for patient safety.
• Ensure trial data and essential documents are complete for inspections.
• Support CAPA implementation and quality initiatives.
• Forecast and manage country trial budgets and contracts.
