We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join our team to help propel government customers digital transformation journeys with human-centered design thinking and consultation.

As a MuleSoft Technical Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and delivery of integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring alignment with client needs, technical standards, and project timelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture of scalable and secure MuleSoft-based integration solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and integration flows.
• Provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Define and enforce integration architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, solution architects, business analysts, and developers to ensure solution alignment.
• Oversee API design and management using RAML/OpenAPI and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Guide the implementation of MuleSoft components including API Gateway, Runtime Manager, Connectors, and DataWeave transformations.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance across services.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD processes, including deployment automation and environment management.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to developers and junior architects on the project team.
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality integration solutions that meet client expectations and SLAs.

Experience Required

• Proven expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including:
• Mule 4 and DataWeave for transformations
• Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, SAML, etc.)
• Understanding of error handling, logging, and performance tuning in integration environments
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIPs) and best practices
