You will work on RL, agentic systems, reasoning models, and efficient training across multiple compute nodes using Python and JAX, with emphasis on rigorous methodology, reproducibility, and open-source style contributions.

Qualifikationen

• Significant professional experience in machine learning engineering, applied AI research, or a closely related field at senior or staff level.
• Deep expertise in modern deep learning for language processing and generation.
• Experience training large-scale models across multiple compute nodes.
• Strong software engineering capabilities, particularly with Python.
• Hands-on experience with JAX and modern DL frameworks.
• Ability to design, execute and analyze ML experiments with statistical rigor.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills; leadership and collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Conduct applied ML research across guided search, RL, agentic systems, reasoning models, and distillation.
• Design and execute experiments to train large language models using diverse environment traces.
• Explore guided generation and search within model trajectory spaces.
• Mine and incorporate web-scale training data.
• Develop efficient methods to include large-scale data in post-training workflows.
• Experiment with RL configurations in verifiable reward domains.
• Train large-scale models across multiple compute nodes.
• Implement ideas with Python and JAX; collaborate with engineers and researchers.
• Contribute to publications, reports, and clear experimental documentation.
