We are seeking a Perth-based Senior Medical Receptionist/Practice Manager with 10+ years of experience to join our clinic in a standalone building. Our practice focuses on functional and integrative medicine, with a strong foundation in general practice, cosmetic treatments, and other valued patient offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional environment.
- Provide exceptional care with a highly empathetic and engaging approach to patients.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate patient interactions and efficient clinic operations.
- Support doctors with the accurate and timely management of appointment schedules.
- Handle patient queries efficiently and effectively.
- Operate “Best Practice” software, including all functions related to Medicare payments and software-driven Medicare functionality.
- Ensure efficient use of payment systems like Tyro and other medical technology platforms, such as HotDoc, Health Engine, etc.
- Interact effectively with support services such as medical supplies providers, IT consultants, utilities providers, maintenance contractors, and ensure all allied health provider communication channels with the clinic are established and operating effectively.
- Take accountability for practice management roles such as reporting, reconciliations, conflict resolution, and complex problem solving.
- Maintain high competency with all aspects of Best Practice and HotDoc software as an advanced user.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong IT skills and understanding of Office 365 and medical technology platforms.
- Have competent financial skills in reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain a proactive approach to continuous learning and development, aiming to improve clinic operations.
- Show initiative in providing solutions rather than just highlighting challenges.
