Novartis is seeking a Senior Manager – Head of Medical Device Laboratory to lead the Analytical community in Schaftenau, Austria, within GDPD. The role oversees method development, validation, transfer, and product testing for functional and mechanical attributes.

You will manage a team, ensure GMP-compliant documentation, and guide projects through regulatory and quality requirements, delivering cross-functional success with a one-team mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Master or PhD in natural science, engineering, pharmaceutical field or equivalent.
• Experience with combination products in pharma.
• 2–4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with drug-device development.
• Proven leadership and people management.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for drug-device products, including ISO standards and cGMP.
• Fluent in English; German language knowledge is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Analytical Innovation & Testing team in Schaftenau.
• Plan, manage, and control project resources, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop new functional test methods for combination products per ISO/pharmacopoeia.
• Ensure GMP-compliant documentation and design control alignment.
• Act as Head of Quality Control in accordance with AMBO.
• Represent the site in internal and authorities' inspections.
