Novartis in Schaftenau, Austria is seeking a Senior Expert to lead downstream process development for DSP portfolio projects. You will oversee chromatography, filtration, and purification work at lab and pilot scales, and guide study design and data interpretation.

You will document results, support technology transfers, and contribute to regulatory submissions while collaborating across functions in a high-impact environment. English required, German preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in biotechnology/related fields and several years of industry experience.
• Experience in downstream processing and chromatography systems (ÄKTA).
• Hands-on experience with JMP; programming in Python, R or SQL is a plus.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and CMC development processes.

Aufgaben

• Lead and organize downstream process development activities for portfolio projects.
• Perform chromatography steps and membrane separations for purification at lab & pilot scale.
• Plan, organize, perform and document experiments; manage multiple tasks.
• Document studies in electronic systems per defined standards; interpret results.
• Lead tech transfers and support generation of registration documents.
• Communicate across interfaces; lead troubleshooting and transfer know-how.
