ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Tony White Group has a fantastic opening for an enthusiastic, energetic, and talented Senior Manager - Finance & Insurance to join us in this exciting growth opportunity in our Corporate Office located in Brisbane.

The Senior Manager F&I is responsible for overseeing the performance of Finance and Insurance functions across all of the TWG businesses. Working in collaboration with the Head of Finance and Insurance, Dealer Principals and Business Managers, you will drive efficiencies to deliver maximum financial returns and meet budget expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, develop, monitor and performance manage the performance of individual Business Managers across TWG and undertake regular individual reviews as well as formalised performance and development meetings
  • Provide effective insight and influence to ensure that prudent F&I commercial practices are established and consistently applied across TWG
  • Review existing commercial practices to identify opportunities and drive efficiencies that contribute to sustainable bottom line performance
  • Lead / provide critical insight and influence to support customer F&I modelling
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance and Insurance and Dealer Principals to drive the business to deliver maximum financial returns and meet budget expectations
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and implement programs to meet internal and external customer requirements and efficiencies
  • Develop, monitor and manage Business Managers to consult with all customers to sell them relevant products provided by the TWG
  • Assist Business Managers as required to obtain finance company approval on finance deals
  • Influence Business Managers to maximise the value achieved from capital investments through embedding best practices
  • Monitor and audit Business Managers procedures for collecting and receipting monies from the sale of vehicles, quality of finance documentation and invoicing functions to ensure compliance with process
  • Ensure total financial integrity of the Business Management team and transparency of financial performance
  • Respond to any customer complaints (internal and external) and conditions that are averse to the operational efficiency of the department or achievement of quality
  • Adhere to all finance company policy requirements, together with all appropriate legal requirements and legislation including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP)
  • Abide by all Company policies and procedures, with particular regard to professional conduct in the workplace
  • All other duties as directed by the Head of Finance and Insurance

SKILLS:

  • Appropriate Tertiary Qualification in business, business admin or finance and/or equivalent experience
  • Excellent customer service, well developed business acumen and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage budgets and analyse data and compile reports
  • A well developed, up-to-date knowledge of the insurance industry, its standards, products and services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop excellent relations with key Group stakeholders to maximise F&I results
  • Strong contractual negotiation experience and ability to work with external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality before, during and after sales service – with professionalism, enthusiasm and strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management, administration, organisational and leadership skills
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently and consistently follow process leading a high performing team
  • The capacity to accommodate frequent interstate travel
