Jobgether is seeking a senior Kubernetes platform engineer to design, operate, and evolve scalable Kubernetes-based platforms for production environments. You will collaborate with platform engineering, infrastructure automation, observability, security, and developer enablement to shape roadmaps and drive reliable, secure architectures.

You will mentor colleagues, contribute to CI/CD and GitOps initiatives, and help establish best practices across distributed teams while promoting scalable

Qualifikationen

• Several years in DevOps, platform engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of daily production Kubernetes experience with cluster lifecycle.management and core components.
• Strong Terraform and Helm experience for automation.
• Hands-on with OKD/OpenShift.
• Proven CI/CD and GitOps design, ideally ArgoCD.
• Programming/scripting in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• SLI/SLO design and reliability engineering knowledge.
• Security standards and compliance integration into infra.

Accountabilities

• Design, operate, maintain, and evolve Kubernetes-based platforms forproduction environmentsat scale.

• Manage Kubernetes clusterlifecycles, ingress controllers, service meshes, cert-manager, and relatedplatform components.

• Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kustomize configurationsfor repeatable platformdeployments.

• Work extensively with OKD/OpenShift and platform technologies to deliver reliable infrastructuresolutions.

• Automate platform provisioningand configuration usingTerraform and Helm.

• Design and operateCI/CD pipelinesand GitOps workflows, including ArgoCD-baseddeployment models.

• Develop automation andplatform tooling usingGo, Python, and/or Bash.

• Build and improveobservability solutionsusing Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Design and implement SLI/SLO frameworks for distributed systems, helping improve reliability and operational visibility.

• Integrate security standards, compliance requirements, and platform securitybest practices intoinfrastructure architectures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams on technical initiatives, platform roadmaps, and infrastructure improvements.

• Mentor colleagues, contributeto technical knowledgesharing, and supportthe continuous improvementof engineering practices.

• Create and maintain platform documentation, including architecture decision records, runbooks,and technical designmaterials.

Requirements

• Several years ofprofessional experiencein DevOps, platformengineering, infrastructure, or a closelyrelated discipline.

• At least1 year ofhands-on, dailyproduction experience withKubernetes, including clusterlifecycle management andcore platform components.

• Strong practical experience with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure automation and configuration management.

• Hands-on experiencewith OKD orOpenShift.

• Proven experience designingand operating CI/CD pipelines andGitOps workflows, ideallyusing ArgoCD.

• Strong programming orscripting capabilitiesin Go, Python, and/or Bash.

• Solid knowledge ofPrometheus, Grafana, andOpenTelemetry, with experienceapplying observabilitypractices to distributedsystems.

• Experience with SLI/SLO design andreliability engineeringprinciples.

• Understanding of security standards,platform security practices, and integrating compliancerequirements into infrastructurearchitectures.

• Strong communication andpresentation skills, withthe ability tocollaborate effectivelyacross technical andcross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated mentoring experienceor a willingnessto contribute tothe technical developmentof colleagues.
