Cloudflight is seeking developers in Austria to build state-of-the-art software for public institutions and diverse businesses worldwide. You’ll join an experienced team of over a thousand professionals delivering value-driven custom solutions.

Expect collaboration across teams, flexible home-office/onsite work, and projects using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot with Angular; fluency in German and English is essential.

Your daily tasks will include

• building sustainable state-of-the-art software solutions
• following agile methodologies, clean code principles and test-driven development
• constantly learning and developing your skills within a wide variety of customized software projects
• building a relationship of trust with your team and allow self-organized working
• establishing and maintaining a good working relationship of trust with the client
• working on projects such as:
  • detecting Clouds with machine learning (Aerospace)
  • building a new portal for students and teachers (Public)
  • creating an excellent app with our partner HappyFoto

• solving complex challenges
• contributing to the impact of the company significantly by coaching less experienced peers across teams and establishing best-practices
• regularly and pro-actively giving and requesting feedback
• understanding the technical requirements of the project before you start programming
• having the belief that the difference between a developer and a good one is the ability to understand the business requirements and solution
• knowledge how to build web applications from scratch backed by entrepreneurial understanding
• feeling the same love for Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot as we do. Add some Angular to make it look neat, but be open for Vue, React and whatever comes
• fluency in both German & English

• The law stipulates that the minimum wage must be specified in job postings. The minimum salary is €62.664 gross/year in the collective agreement. Adequate to your skills, we are willing to pay much more.
