Zusammenfassung

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to take technical ownership of payment platforms in a distributed European environment. You will design, build, and operate secure, high-performance systems for processing transactions at scale.

You will mentor engineers, lead architectural decisions, and collaborate with Product, Architecture, and DevOps to translate complex requirements into robust solutions. Emphasis on reliability, security, observability, and continuous delivery.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience with ownership of complex production systems.
• Strong Java 21/25 and Spring Boot 4 / Spring Framework 7 experience for RESTful/microservices.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and asynchronous processing, idempotency, exactly-once semantics.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• API design with REST/OpenAPI and integration patterns.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot and feature ownership from design to production.
• Lead architectural design of components, data models, and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure reliability, security, and regulatory compliance of platforms.
• Design and maintain integrations with external systems and APIs.
• Write clean, testable code and promote engineering best practices.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, and deployment processes.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers across distributed teams.
• Participate in production incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Stay informed on payments industry tech trends and innovations.
