Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank is seeking a dynamic Incident Response and Forensics Senior Associate to join the Cybersecurity Team within the Technology and Transformation Department at our headquarters in Washington, D.C. This international staff role offers visa and relocation support.

You will coordinate cyber incident detection, triage, and response, perform forensics, and develop robust security baselines for cloud and on-premises solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Certifications such as GCFA, SANS 508, CRTP, OSCP, CEH, CISSP, GIAC GWAPT, CISA, CISM, CRISC are assets.
• 3+ years with a Master’s degree and 6+ years with a Bachelor in cybersecurity or related areas.
• English proficiency required; knowledge of another Bank official language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cyber incident detection and triage of security alerts.
• Coordinate incident response across internal and external teams and MSPs.
• Perform digital forensics exercises and evidence handling with chain of custody.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and produce detailed incident reports.
• Ensure investigations comply with policies and industry standards; contribute to exercises.
• Serve as technical focal point for junior staff and communicate with stakeholders.
