Senior Human Resources Business Partner - QLD

Location: Brisbane (QLD)
Employment Type: Maximum Term Full Time until 31 March 2027

Airbus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing and delivering the full employee lifecycle across designated client groups, ensuring that HR strategy is aligned with business needs and objectives.

As the primary HR point of contact for your client groups, you will act as a trusted advisor and partner to leaders, providing integrated HR solutions and supporting the achievement of business goals. You will play a key role in driving a high-performance culture built on collaboration, engagement, and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to design and implement HR and workplace strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide expert advice and support on all HR matters including employee relations and industrial relations.
  • Coach and advise leaders in managing performance, employee development, and organisational change.
  • Lead workforce planning, attraction, and retention initiatives to meet business demand forecasts.
  • Drive talent management activities, including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Ensure compliance with Airbus policies, national legislation, and the Airbus Code of Conduct.
  • Lead and support HR projects to deliver continuous improvement across the business.
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics, reporting on key workforce and people outcomes.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR generalist or business partnering role.
  • Strong background in Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER),with proven ability to advise, coach and resolve complex matters.
  • Experience partnering with leaders at all levels, with strong influencing and advisory skills.
  • Knowledge across remuneration, performance management, talent planning, and HR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage organisational change, conflict resolution, and restructures.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law, or a related discipline (required).
