Overview
Business 360 is expanding, and we’re looking for a senior HR and WHS Consultant to join our national team. You’ll work directly with SME business owners across Australia (and occasionally New Zealand), helping them reduce risk, stay compliant, and build better workplaces.
From award interpretation to psychosocial hazards, from contract creation to advice on interpersonal matters, this role is diverse, practical and one of trust. You’ll audit systems, prepare gap analysis reports, and implement updated policies and contracts that give business managers clarity, defensibility, and a path forward.
You’ll be remote-based but part of a small, high-performing team that values ownership, detail, work ethic, and genuine care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise SME clients on HR and WHS issues with practical, risk-aware solutions.
- Interpret Modern Awards and enterprise agreements across multiple industries.
- Conduct HR and WHS audits and prepare clear, actionable reports.
- Draft and update workplace documents: contracts, policies, safety procedures.
- Support clients with strategic advice and coaching to improve workforce outcomes.
What You Bring
- 3+ years’ HR and WHS advisory experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR/IR plus Certificate IV in WHS.
- Solid knowledge of Fair Work Act, WHS law, Codes of Practice (including psychosocial hazards & positive duty).
- Experience interpreting awards across varied industries.
- Advantage: exposure to New Zealand workplace law.
- Strong writing, detail focus, and ability to simplify complexity.
- Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable working remotely.
- Driver’s licence and Australian residency.
