Are you driven by precision, innovation, and the satisfaction of turning a concept into a tangible product? We're looking for a Senior Hardware Developer who thrives at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing to help shape the future of our product development.

We are a young deep-tech company that creates and produces internationally awarded smart glasses. Our headquarters is in Vienna, where we develop and manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses.

From research & development, engineering, production to marketing and sales - we offer everything from a single source under one roof. Although we have our roots in Austria, we are "born global" and work with customers and sales partners all over the world.

Making Future Reality together - are you in?

Tasks
  • Take ownership of the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept through to production release.
  • Define hardware architecture and select key components for high-performance, reliable solutions.
  • Design and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits including voltage regulators, filters, and communication interfaces.
  • Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts (incl. flex-rigid) using Altium Designer.
  • Conduct hardware bring-up, testing, documentation, and design validation.
  • Optimize Bill of Materials (BOM) for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with EMI/EMC standards and relevant global regulations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across software, mechanics, and manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development.
  • Strong expertise in HDI design, mixed-signal design, and EMC-compliant layouts.
  • Solid command of Altium Designer or the ability to ramp up quickly.
  • Experience with rigid-flex PCB design and camera/LED interface circuits.
  • Skilled in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and VNAs.
  • Familiarity with high-speed design and measurement techniques, bus architectures, and grounding concepts.
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
Nice to have
  • Experience with worst-case circuit analysis, thermal management, or high-speed simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of FPGA integration.
  • Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
Benefits
  • Together Making Future Reality: A job as unique as our team – super international, dynamic, and always there for each other.
  • Good vibes, flexible times: Home office, flexible working hours, and top connectivity. Your job, your style.
  • Goodies on top: Cool events, "Inspire Days" for recharging, Yearly public transport ticket, and all the IT gear you need.
  • Freedom and support: We don't just push you but fly to the moon together – with lots of courses and opportunities for development.

We look forward to your application! Join us and help shape the future of smart glasses.
