We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and visionary professional to lead the ongoing development and optimisation of our organisational capability. As the Senior Growth and Strategic Planner, you will play a vital role in shaping the Concordia Growth Area and guiding strategic land use planning across the entire Council area. This position involves driving key projects that align with statutory requirements and deliver clear, high-quality outcomes for our community. You\'ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainable growth and make a meaningful impact through evidence-based planning and policy initiatives.
Your strong planning background and people skills will help you lead the staged development of Concordia in line with Council priorities and legislation, while implementing and advancing the Growth and Infrastructure Investment Strategy. You\'ll conduct critical research and analysis to support informed decision-making and contribute to planning policy reviews and amendments. By fostering collaboration with community groups, government bodies, and industry stakeholders, you\'ll help deliver vibrant, liveable spaces that balance development with heritage and environmental values. Additionally, you\'ll manage strategic projects and consultants to ensure efficient delivery of urban and regional planning outcomes.
