MERKUR Excellence GmbH, part of the MERKUR GROUP, is seeking a Senior Game Developer (m/f/d) to join our studio in Vienna. You will design and implement high-quality slot games for casino platforms using Unity and C#, in an Agile environment with Producers, Game Mathematicians, and Artists.

Bring advanced Unity expertise, strong OOP skills, and a proven track record in casino game development. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Your responsibilities

• As a Senior Game Developer (m/f/d) you will develop and maintain slot machine games for casino platforms using Unity.
• You'll implement gameplay logic and features in close collaboration with Producers, Game Mathematicians, and Artists within an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Moreover, you will ensure high code quality, performance, and maintainability across the entire development process.
• In addition, you'll contribute to designing clean software architecture and scalable systems while following best practices in game development.

Your profile

• Advanced experience with Unity
• Advanced knowledge of C# and strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience developing casino games, especially slot machines
