Senior Full Stack Developer – Brisbane QLD – Node, Typescript, React, React Native, AWS / GCP Serverless - $140k + Super – 1 Day P/W WFH.

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (Node.js & TypeScript & React) to help scale their platform, evolve their product suite, and lead the development of new solutions. A small business idea which started around 8 years ago has now grown so big, they’re taking over Australia – and they need your help to drive the technology forward.

The Role

As a Senior Developer, you'll be deeply involved in both greenfield projects and the ongoing improvement of their existing systems. You'll work across the stack - primarily using Node.js and TypeScript—to design, build, and optimise new features, enhance performance, and ensure their platform scales to meet growing demand. You'll also contribute to maturing their development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, code quality practices, and release workflows. Experience working within React Native is a bonus, as some mobile application development is involved.

This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will shape the future of the platform and identity technology. About You

You’re a self-motivated full-stack engineer with deep experience in Node.js, React, and TypeScript. You enjoy building from the ground up as much as refining existing systems. You’re constantly learning, and you bring curiosity and creativity to your work. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and enjoy collaborating with others to ship high-quality software. You’re comfortable owning projects end-to-end, but you also know the value of teamwork and asking for help when needed. You love solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant qualifications.
• Proven experience managing and maintaining applications in production environments.
• Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript in a professional setting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless or GCP Serverless (both preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in React - this is essential.
• Experience with React Native or Next.js is a bonus but not required.
• A focus on code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions (preferred but not required).
