refurbed is Europe’s fastest-growing marketplace for refurbished products, remote-first with a Vienna headquarters, and 23 countries of activity. We seek a Senior Full Stack Engineer (f/m/x) with strong Go backend and modern frontend experience to help scale our marketplace.

You will design and build backend services in Go, craft high-performance frontend, and contribute to RFCs to ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across the stack.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Go, PostgreSQL, Redis and gRPC in distributed systems.
• Strong API design, data modeling, and distributed systems know-how.
• Frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and performance-focused practices.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Go powering our web and mobile applications.
• Improve system performance, monitoring, and developer experience across the stack.
• Drive RFCs and architectural improvements through reviews and design docs.
• Develop scalable frontend features with emphasis on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Build high-traffic, user-facing pages with fast load times and strong usability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Implement A/B tests and rollout strategies for new features.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across APIs and systems.
• Review code, mentor teammates, and contribute to technical interviews.
