Job summary

Greentube GmbH, the in-house content team in Vienna, seeks a Senior English Copywriter to craft, refine, and scale high-quality content using AI tools. You will collaborate with marketing, product, creative, and communications teams to shape our brand voice and ensure cross-channel consistency.

You will edit human- and AI-generated content, maintain tone and terminology, and optimize content for various digital formats and CRM channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism, media, or related field.
• Experience in PR, journalism, copywriting, or creative writing (1+ year preferred).
• Outstanding writing in British and American English; strong German (native-level English).
• SEO principles knowledge is an advantage.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and forward-thinking Senior English Copywriter to join our in-house content team. In this role, you will leverage both your exceptional storytelling skills and cutting-edge Generative AI tools to create, refine, and scale high-quality written content across multiple platforms.
Working closely with marketing, product, creative, and communication teams, you will help shape our brand voice, maintain cross-channel consistency, and drive efficiency through AI-powered content workflows.

Your tasks

• AI-Powered & Creative Content Creation: Create engaging marketing content to target different user groups — utilizing AI tools to brainstorm, draft, and scale copy efficiently. Collaborate with SEO and growth teams by crafting custom prompts to guarantee full alignment with our brand voice and performance goals
• Brand Quality & Editing: Edit, proofread, and quality-check human- and AI-generated content to ensure full alignment with our brand voice, tone, style, and terminology guidelines
• Tone & Consistency Maintenance: Maintain a consistent tone of voice, wording, and messaging across all written materials and touchpoints
• Testing & Usability: Test and review content pre-launch and post-launch to ensure accuracy, usability, and resonance across existing and new platforms.
• Format & Audience Optimization: Adapt and optimize existing texts for various digital formats, target audiences, and CRM channels
• Translation & Localization: Deliver and refine translations and localizations following brand and market requirements, integrating AI-driven translation and proofreading tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support internal business units by tailoring content to their objectives and communication needs
• Workflow Optimization & Innovation: Continuously explore, evaluate, and integrate novel AI writing tools, prompt engineering techniques, and content automation workflows to improve creative output and operational speed

Your profile

• Higher education (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in marketing, communications, journalism, media, or a related field
• Experience in PR, journalism, copywriting, or creative writing (1+ year preferred)
• Outstanding writing skills in British and American English, with strong German language ability (native-level English required)
• Ability to absorb complex information quickly and translate it into clear, engaging content
• Highly organized, structured, and comfortable working with established content processes
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset
• Ability to stay calm under deadlines and manage multiple requests
• Knowledge of SEO principles is an advantage

The minimum gross annual salary for this position according to the applicable collective agreement is €55.356 (full-time basis, paid in 14 salaries). A higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
