medmix Switzerland AG seeks a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our technical core in fluid handling. You will lead design control, drive CAD-based development (Siemens NX), and oversee early-stage pre-development workstreams, partnering with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires a strong background in plastic product development, 5+ years experience, and a hands-on, results-driven mindset to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions in healthcare and related markets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience and enjoyment of conceptual development.
• 5+ years in plastic product development.
• Strong CAD skills and design-for-manufacturing focus.

Aufgaben

• Lead design control in concept and product development.
• Lead the design-for-manufacturing process and CAD implementation (3D modelling and drawings).
• Plan, perform, and document technical part of exploratory pre-development projects.
• Plan, perform, and document workstreams to strengthen technical competencies.
• Execute and support product development projects with technical expertise and investigations.
• Prepare technical documentation per product development process.
• Define, request and assess design verification reports (metrology and mechanical testing).
• Coordinate with external development partners and suppliers.
• Explore new technologies for product and process innovations in Adhesives, Dental, Healthcare.

Strengthen technical core competencies and develop new technologies and products in the field of fluid handling system.

• Lead design control in concept and product development.
• Lead the Design-for-Manufacturing process and implementation in CAD (3D-modelling and drawing).
• Plan, perform, and document technical part of exploratory pre-development projects.
• Plan, perform, and document workstreams to strengthen technical core competencies.

• Prepare technical documentation (specification, implementation, verification, validation) in accordance with the product development process.
• Define, request and assess design verification reports (including metrology reports and mechanical testing).
• Coordination with external development partners and suppliers.
• Discover new technologies for product-, and process-related innovations for the strategic business segments Adhesives, Dental, and Healthcare.
• Observe market and new product developments in the strategic business segments Dental, Industry, and Surgery.
• Support internal stakeholders (Sales, Product Management, Quality, Operations, etc.) with technical and product related expertise.

Qualifications/ Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, Subject: Mechanical Engineering or comparable

• Experience and enjoyment of conceptual development
