Zusammenfassung

Anton Paar seeks a skilled plastics design engineer to independently develop concept and detailed designs for plastic parts and components. You will collaborate with Product Management and Industrial Design, coordinating with suppliers to ensure technically feasible, manufacturable solutions.

You will conduct feasibility studies, translate design requirements, and contribute to the realization of innovative plastic parts within a global high-tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience selecting suitable plastic materials and understanding their properties.
• Experience with manufacturing processes for plastic components, especially injection molding and structural foam molding.
• Experience with CAD design; SolidWorks and/or Creo is an advantage.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and small-batch production of plastic components.

• Collaborate closely with Industrial Design and translate design requirements into technically feasible solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies and assessments
• Handle technical clarification and coordination with suppliers

Qualifications

• Experience in selecting suitable plastic materials and a solid understanding of their properties
• Experience with manufacturing processes for plastic components, particularly injection molding and structural foam molding
• Experience with CAD design; SolidWorks and/or Creo experience is an advantage
• Experience with rapid prototyping and small-batch production of plastic components
• Strong team player with flexibility and a high level of quality awareness
• Excellent spatial visualization skills and a passion for designing and optimizing both new and existing products
