CLC Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (w/m/d) to build the data infrastructure powering advanced analytics. This fully onsite role offers ownership, minimal bureaucracy, and the freedom to build solutions your way.

You will work with large datasets, develop and maintain Python-based data applications, design reliable pipelines, and collaborate with international teams to enable data-driven decisions. Strong focus on reliability, performance, and data quality.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
• Strong programming skills in Python, especially in a data engineering context
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data applications
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL/PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience designing reliable, maintainable software solutions with a strong engineering mindset
• Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with tools like Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration frameworks is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to independently solve complex technical problems
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a highly autonomous environment
• Fluent in English and German

• Build and maintain the data infrastructure supporting the business
• Develop, test, and optimize Python-based data applications, frameworks, and services
• Design reliable pipelines to collect, process, store, and distribute large datasets
• Improve data platforms, libraries, and internal frameworks to increase team efficiency
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility across the organization
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and production support
• Take ownership of solutions from idea to implementation
