Amihansolutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a Swiss-based data center and digital services leader. You will implement an enterprise data platform based on Microsoft Fabric, develop data ingestion pipelines, and optimize lakehouse architectures.

You will collaborate with architects, participate in CI/CD, and translate complex data requirements into robust technical solutions in a hybrid, full-time role with global exposure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL, PySpark and Python skills.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT solutions.
• Experience with Lakehouse architecture and Delta tables.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID authentication concepts.
• Experience with Data Vault or other enterprise data modeling methodologies.
• Hands-on engineer capable of working independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Pragmatic mindset with a focus on engineering quality.
• Able to translate architecture into robust technical solutions.
• Nice to Have: Data Vault 2.0 knowledge; Power BI semantic models; integrating enterprise applications and SaaS; IaC (Bicep or Terraform); data governance and security principles; MS Azure/Fabric Certification (DP-700, DP-600).

Aufgaben

• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation and orchestration pipelines.
• Implement and optimize Lakehouse solutions in alignment with platform architecture.
• Build and optimize Spark/PySpark data processing workloads.
• Implement Data Vault and enterprise data integration patterns.
• Contribute to CI/CD, source control and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable data solutions.
