About the Opportunity
Supporting the Infrastructure Projects team to successfully deliver ARTC Infrastructure Projects through disciplined data management, analysis and reporting to manage business performance and deliver value for money. Create insightful data analytics that transform and integrate raw data into useable information for ARTC leaders and project managers use for business and project performance management.
The Data Engineer is responsible for reporting and reporting the expenditure through to completion. The role has a high degree of cooperation with the Project Cost Controller and Project Controls Engineer.

What are we looking for in you?

• Identify, transform, and implement complex data sources, data processing concepts and innovative methods
• Lead the selection and development of designing engineering methods, tools and techniques under the Software Development Lifecycle for on-premises and cloud-based data engineering solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain complex structure and data storing for usage in analytics, machine learning, data mining and sharing with applications
• Lead the design, development and implementation of structured and unstructured data pipelines ensuring data is fit for purpose
• Drive the integration, consolidation, migration and transformation of data and ensures adherence to business guidelines, technical strategies, and ARTC IT architecture
• Establish benefits realisation models (with a view to these having applicability and repeatability across ARTC)
• Creating Power BI meaningful reports which contain analysis mechanisms for various aspects of track project delivery across various discipline areas and using both ARTC and supply chain provided data sets
