Raiffeisen Bank International AG is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the customer onboarding and lifecycle management domain. You will build robust backend systems in Java and Go, in a Kubernetes environment, while leveraging AI to accelerate development and propose migrations.

The role requires strong communication, international agile collaboration, and the ability to present prototypes to senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in software development.
• Good knowledge of Java and Go.
• Adaptability and strong interest to integrate AI with various projects.
• Ability to present prototypes or concepts to senior management.
• Pro‑active, creative attitude and team orientation.
• Excellent communication skill
• Structured working approach and problem solving skills.
• Very good command of English (mandatory), German is a plus

Aufgaben

• Develop, improve, and maintain backend systems using Java and Go within a Kubernetes environment.
• Utilize AI technologies to speed up feature development; create prototypes and proposals for solution migrations.
• Design APIs, event-driven architectures, and event schemas.
• Work with event streaming and event sourcing (Apache Pulsar).
• Implement microservices and Functions as a Service (FaaS).
• Automate integration, testing, and deployment processes using declarative GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Collaborate in requirements analysis; support Product Owners by clarifying system capabilities and constraints.
• Operate within an international agile team alongside business analysts, frontend developers, testers, and DevOps
