Job summary

Bybit is seeking a meticulous Senior AML Specialist for Name Screening & Travel Rule to join the AML Operations team. You will handle sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening across the customer lifecycle, while supporting Travel Rule compliance and data exception handling for virtual asset transfers.

You will review alerts, investigate matches, and collaborate with internal teams and external VASPs to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AML operations experience in financial services, fintech, payments or virtual assets.
• Hands-on experience with name screening, sanctions compliance and Travel Rule.
• Knowledge of FATF Travel Rule requirements and sanctions frameworks.
• Understanding of virtual asset transactions and related AML/CFT risks.
• Strong analytical and case-handling skills.
• Certifications such as CAMS or ICA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition screening alerts for sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, customers and counterparties.
• Investigate matches, document rationale, and escalate high-risk cases.
• Support Travel Rule operations by reviewing originator/beneficiary data and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with AML Operations and Compliance teams on escalations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to process improvements, including automation and AI initiatives.
• Maintain accurate case records and support audits and regulatory inquiries.
