Bybit is seeking a detail-oriented Name Screening & Travel Rule AML Specialist to join our AML Operations team in Vienna. You will screen sanctions, PEPs and adverse media across the customer lifecycle, support Travel Rule compliance, and handle exceptions for virtual asset transfers.

You will investigate potential matches, document clear rationale, liaise with internal teams and VASPs, and contribute to process improvements and AI initiatives to curb financial crime risks.

Formación

• 3+ years of AML Operations experience in financial services, fintech, payments or virtual assets.
• Hands-on name screening, sanctions compliance and Travel Rule experience.
• Familiarity with sanctions frameworks, PEP/adverse media screening and FATF Travel Rule.
• Knowledge of virtual asset transactions and AML/CFT risk considerations.
• Strong documentation, analytical and case-handling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review and disposition screening alerts relating to sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, customers, counterparties and parties.
• Investigate potential matches, document clear rationale, and escalate when needed.
• Support Travel Rule operations by reviewing originator/beneficiary data and resolving discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal teams and counterparty VASPs to resolve issues.
• Monitor sanctions and Travel Rule developments and support timely implementation.
• Maintain case records and support audits and reviews.
• Identify recurring false positives and contribute to rule tuning and process improvements.
