The Role

As Senior Accountant you will:

• Lead a diverse portfolio of clients spanning companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
• Deliver end-to-end tax compliance and strategic advisory services
• Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and IAS
• Partner with directors on complex structuring, planning and business growth projects
• Mentor junior staff and play a key role in shaping the team’s future capability

As Manager, you will:

• Lead a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services
• Provide clear, commercially focused tax planning, structuring, and business growth advice
• Oversee workflow management, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Review and sign off on financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory lodgements
• Partner with directors on strategic engagements, client development, and firm-wide initiatives
• Play a key role in growing the advisory division by mentoring staff, supporting new hires, and driving continuous improvement

The Ideal Person

Ideally, you will be a commercially minded, relationship-focused professional with the following background:

• 3+ years’ (Senior) or 5+ years’ (Manager) experience in public practice
• A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
• CA/CPA completed or near completion
• Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple entity structures
• Experience with Xero and other accounting/tax software
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• A proactive and collaborative approach

Salary / Rate

• $80k - $140k + Super – a broad range is on offer commensurate with your experience and potential
• Full-time position
• Generous WFH flexibility + Free Parking
