Senior Accountant – Financial & Management Accounting

Are you an experienced accountant looking to broaden your scope across both financial and management accounting? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business, where you’ll play a key role in providing accurate financial reporting while also supporting commercial decision-making.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of a wide range of accounting responsibilities, including:

• Managing the month-end and year-end financial reporting process
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Providing management reporting and insights to support strategic decisions
• Assisting with tax compliance (BAS, FBT, GST)
• Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and journals
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver financial support

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting experience
• Exposure to management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Solid experience with ERP systems
