Tempo Energy Innovations GmbH in Dornbirn, Austria seeks a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager (m/w/d) to lead the Austrian finance function remotely. This full-time role reports to the US Director of Finance & Accounting and requires German and English fluency.

The position oversees accounting, payroll, tax, purchasing, and EU grant reporting for the Austrian subsidiary. You will coordinate with our US parent, external Steuerberater, and payroll provider, ensuring compliant financials and grant

Qualifikationen

Five+ years of full-cycle accounting in Austria, including sole responsibility for a legal entity’s books and Jahresabschluss under UGB.
Working command of Austrian payroll and payroll tax.
Professional fluency in German and English.
Advanced Excel; ERP-native rather than spreadsheet-dependent.
Authorisation to work in Austria.

Aufgaben

Own accounting, payroll, tax, purchasing, and EU grant reporting for the Austrian entity.
Coordinate with US parent and external Steuerberater and payroll provider.
Prepare month-end closes and management reporting by cost centre and project.
Maintain multi-currency accounting and intercompany balances across entities.
Support internal and external audits and grant reporting.
