Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to the finance team through daily accounting, financial reporting, and administrative tasks. Collaborating with the Finance Manager and Regional Finance & Business Compliance Manager, you will ensure accurate records, compliance with regulations, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Accounting: Manage daily operations, maintain the general ledger, and process supplier invoices with approval and timely payments.
  2. Bank and Cash Management: Record transactions, reconcile accounts, approve bank payments, and monitor cash flow in collaboration with Group Treasury.
  3. Expense Management: Handle travel and management expenses, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  4. Reporting: Conduct month-end and year-end closing, reconcile balance sheets, and prepare reports per group and local standards.
  5. Fixed Assets: Maintain asset register and document capital acquisitions.
  6. Payroll: Coordinate with external payroll providers for accuracy and timeliness.
  7. Internal Controls: Develop and implement processes to ensure internal control and compliance with G3 standards.
  8. VAT and Tax: Prepare VAT returns and tax declarations according to local laws.
  9. Financial Planning: Support budgeting and forecasting with regional finance teams.
  10. Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation during audits.
  11. Administration: Manage records, customs documents, and office administration.
  12. Team Collaboration: Work with regional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Skills/Experience:

  • Degree or recognized professional qualification in accounting; experience in a busy finance role.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics AX) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for multicultural teams.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently or in teams.
