Job summary

IMS Nanofabrication, headquartered in Austria, seeks a Technology Application Expert for its FLEX product line. You will connect customer applications with product development, translating complex technical needs into tangible features.

You will work closely with Product Management, Application Engineering, and R&D to move solutions from concept to successful application in a highly innovative semiconductor environment. Vienna-based role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least three years of relevant technical experience, ideally in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer use cases and translate application requirements into technically feasible product features.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D on feature definitions, priorities, and technical implementation.
• Drive the development, validation, and rollout of application-related features.
• Prepare, validate, and support technical demonstrations for customers.
• Evaluate new features in realistic application scenarios and ensure their technical robustness.
• Serve as a key interface between customers, on-site teams, Product Management, and Engineering.
• Support complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product performance optimization.
• Bring structured customer and application insights into product roadmap and continuous improvement activities.
