Hellmann in Austria seeks an Operations Associate to support seafreight logistics with meticulous administration, documentation and coordination. You will handle export/import/crosstrade shipments from pickup to delivery and ensure on-time performance while communicating with customers and partners worldwide.

Ideal candidates have vocational training in Freight Forwarding and Logistics, strong English, MS Office proficiency, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to drive process improvements.

• Handle Seafreight Shipments (Export/Import/Crosstrade) from pick-up to delivery.
• Process inquiries and coordinate with customers, shipping companies, authorities, branches and partners.
• Maintain file documentation according to internal guidelines.
• Prepare and check transport documents and monitor on-time deliveries.
• Assist in process optimization and uphold service quality.

Managing essential office tasks, coordinating logistics activities, and providing comprehensive support to the team. About the Job

• Handling Seafreight Shipments (Export/Import/Crosstrade), from Pick-Up to Delivery
• Processing inquiries
• Communication with customers, shipping companies, authorities, branches, and partners worldwide
• File Maintenance according to internal guidelines
• Preparing and checking transport documents

About You

• Completed vocational training in the field of Freight Forwarding and Logistics
• Outgoing, communicative Freight Forwarding personality
• Work experience in the field of Seafreight
• Curious to learn new things
• Customer-oriented thinking and actions
• Strong sense of quality
• Good command of English, both spoken and written; any additional language is a plus
• Confident handling of MS Office products (e.g. Excel)
• Experience with CargoWise is an advantage
• Team player with strong communication skills
