Zusammenfassung

Roche and mySugr are seeking an experienced Scrum Master in Vienna to empower two Agile teams within an ART, guiding SAFe practices and delivering value in chronic care software solutions.

You will coach teams on Scrum, Kanban and SAFe, remove blockers, and improve flow and collaboration across the ART while promoting high performance and sustainable work practices.

Qualifikationen

  • 5+ years hands-on Scrum Master or Agile Coach experience.
  • 7+ years in software product development.
  • Solid experience with Scrum, Kanban and SAFe (XP a plus).
  • SAFe 6.0 Certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle cross-team conflicts and impediments.
  • Technical background: software development or a technical degree.
  • Based in Vienna or Barcelona Area.

  • Help teams deliver value by keeping a clear focus on Sprint Goals, the Team Backlog, and ART priorities.
  • Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and make risks and impediments visible.
  • Support coordination across teams and ART ceremonies, especially around dependencies.
  • Use team metrics to learn, reflect, and continuously improve how teams deliver.
  • Improve ways of working by evolving roles, ceremonies, processes, and tools.
  • Encourage experimentation, learning, and adaptation across teams.
  • Coach teams on Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles.
  • Help teams build trust, autonomy, and strong collaboration across the ART.
  • Ensure teams have the right capacity and skills to deliver effectively.

We are looking for a Scrum Master who shares our passion for Agile product development and is able to drive it forward, supporting up to two teams in an Agile Release Train (ART). You’ll be working on a chronic care solutions, enabling teams to deliver value that really impacts patient care.

We don’t just practice Agile on paper. We constantly reflect, learn, and improve how we work, with the goal of enabling high-performing, focused, and sustainable teams.

You will act as a delivery and team-effectiveness coach, helping teams deliver value, stay focused, improve flow, and collaborate better across the ART.

What you’ll do
  • Help teams deliver value by keeping a clear focus on Sprint Goals, the Team Backlog, and ART priorities.
  • Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and make risks and impediments visible, helping the team resolve them early.
  • Support coordination across teams and ART-level ceremonies, especially around dependencies.
  • Use team metrics to learn, reflect, and continuously improve how teams deliver.
  • Improve ways of working by evolving roles, ceremonies, processes, and tools; always aiming to reduce complexity and wasted effort.
  • Encourage experimentation, learning, and adaptation across teams.
  • Coach teams on Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles, promoting high performance and agile best practices.
  • Help teams build trust, autonomy, and strong collaboration, enabling them to perform effectively and sustainably.
  • Support teams in achieving the right capacity and skills to deliver effectively and contribute to overall ART performance.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
  • 7+ years working in software product development.
  • Solid experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (XP is a plus).
  • SAFe 6.0 Certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
  • Comfortable handling team and cross-team conflicts and impediments.
  • Technical background: experience in software development and/or a technical degree.
  • Based in Vienna or Barcelona Area

In Austria, we have a legal obligation to disclose the minimum salary according to our collective agreement, which is gross EUR 3.843 - per month for this position. But!
