Roche Holding AG in Vienna is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile product development for a chronic care solution. You will coach two teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) and help them deliver value, improve flow, and collaborate across teams.

The role requires strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and a background in software development. You’ll practice SAFe principles, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to a high-performing, sustainable engineering culture

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• 2) 7+ years working in software product development.
• 3) Strong experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (XP a plus).
• 4) SAFe 6.0 Certification.
• 5) Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and change management skills.

• Help teams deliver value by keeping a clear focus on Sprint Goals, the Team Backlog, and ART priorities.
• Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and make risks and impediments visible, helping the team resolve them early.
• Support coordination across teams and ART-level ceremonies, especially around dependencies.
• Use team metrics to learn, reflect, and continuously improve how teams deliver.
• Improve ways of working by evolving roles, ceremonies, processes, and tools; reduce complexity and wasted effort.
• Encourage experimentation, learning, and adaptation across teams.
• Coach teams on Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles, promoting high performance and agile best practices.
• Help teams build trust, autonomy, and strong collaboration, enabling them to perform effectively and sustainably.
• Support teams in achieving the right capacity and skills to deliver effectively and contribute to overall ART performance.

We are looking for a Scrum Master who shares our passion for Agile product development and is able to drive it forward, supporting up to two teams in an Agile Release Train (ART). You’ll be working on a chronic care solution, enabling teams to deliver value that really impacts patient care.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• 7+ years working in software product development.
• Solid experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (XP is a plus).
• SAFe 6.0 Certification.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
• Comfortable handling team and cross‑team conflicts and impediments.
• Technical background: experience in software development and/or a technical degree.
