Jobbeschreibung

As Sales Excellence Manager you will be responsible to enhance sales effectiveness, optimize sales process, embed a performance culture and accelerate growth through best-in-class sales tools, methodologies and training. This role will cover multiple market segments and business units, while being hosted in the service team. Your objective is to increase effectiveness of our sales and customer service organization, ensuring time is spend on customer value added activities, like customer face time. The goal is to increase internal and external customer satisfaction.

How you will make a difference
  • Optimize and standardize sales processes:Drive efficiency through analysis, optimization, and harmonization of sales processes and methodologies across the Compression business.
  • Develop and implement best practices:Introduce proven sales strategies and ensure their rollout across all teams to elevate performance.
  • Enhance CRM usage:Support and improve the effective use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to maximize sales insights and tracking.
  • Enable sales team development:Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and competency models to develop sales capabilities.
  • Define and track performance metrics:Establish and monitor KPIs and sales targets to support data-driven improvements and accountability.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration:Work with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Customer Service to align processes and improve lead/opportunity management and customer experience.
  • Lead change initiatives:Support change management in sales and identify tools and technologies that drive future sales support.
What you should be good at
  • Business or economics background:Completed degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • Sales operations expertise: Several years of experience in sales, sales operations, or sales excellence roles, ideally with project management know-how.
  • CRM and analytics skills: Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales analysis tools, plus a solid command of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and process mindset: Ability to analyze, structure, and improve complex sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and change leadership: Capable of supporting change and engaging cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
  • Interpersonal effectiveness: Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and collaboration skills in dynamic environments.
