Zusammenfassung

Klüber Lubrication Austria Ges.m.b.H. is seeking a Sales Engineer for the automotive industry across Austria. You will provide technical and commercial consulting to existing and new customers, drive revenue growth, and manage market development with OEMs and Tier suppliers.

The role requires strong sales acumen, travel up to 70%, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and fluent English and German. A valid B driver’s license is essential, with a hybrid work setup in Salzburg region.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and commercial consulting to customers across Austria’s automotive sector.
• Drive acquisition, retention, and market development in the Austria-wide territory.

• Prepare forecasts and identify new market opportunities (OEMs and Tier suppliers).
• Manage quotations, sampling, contracts, and follow-up.
• Support product development activities and customer trials.
• Monitor market and competitor activities and propose strategic actions.
• Represent the company at customer events and trade fairs, coordinating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and commercial consulting to existing and new customers within Austria’s automotive industry
• Drive acquisition, retention, and strategic development of the South-East Austria sales territory
• Take full responsibility for revenue growth and results-driven market expansion
• Prepare sales forecasts and systematically identify new market opportunities (OEMs and Tier suppliers)
• Manage quotations, sampling, contract renewals, and ensure consistent follow-up
• Support product development activities, customer trials, and resolve product-related issues
• Monitor market and competitor activities and derive strategic actions
• Represent the company at customer events, trade fairs, and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure effective reporting and execution

• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays (70%)
• Solid technical knowledge (engineering/technical degree or equivalent experience)
