About the Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Risk and Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive risk management and compliance framework. You will work closely with the Executive Management Team (EMT), senior leaders, external stakeholders, and regulators to ensure adherence to legislation, mitigate risks, and promote a proactive approach to governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management Framework: Develop and maintain policies and processes aligned with best practices
  • Compliance Management: Monitor legislative changes, oversee audits, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Risk Reporting & Governance: Maintain risk registers, facilitate workshops, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for senior management
  • ESG Strategy: Oversee ESG compliance and reporting while driving sustainability initiatives
  • Provide expert advice to EMT and Board on compliance and risk matters
  • Coordinate Audit & Risk Committee agendas and ensure effective business continuity plans are in place.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A relevant degree in Business, Law, Economics, Accounting or similar fields
  • Proven experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills to coach and influence across all levels of the business
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of governance and compliance.
