Join Our Team as a Manager - Care (Residential) at RetireAustralia!

Position: Manager - Care (Residential)
Location: This position can be located in QLD or NSW – responsible for Glengara Care (NSW) and our Care Hubs (QLD). This care model is a part of our Glengara and The Verge retirement villages,along with the new villages being developed in Brisbane.
Reports To: National Manager – Care

About The Position

As the Manager - Care (Residential), you will oversee our Care services at Glengara Care and Care Hubs.

The Care Hub is a genuine alternative to aged care, offering compassionate and person-centred care in a homelike environment. Our Care Hubs are staffed 24/7 by Nurses and qualified Carers

You will work closely with the Manager - Care Community and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services. Your responsibilities will include managing resources and budgets, providing clinical leadership, and driving the growth of our Care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of care services in Glengara Care and Care Hubs.
  • Collaborate with the Manager - Care Community to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies.
  • Plan and manage resources and rostering for Care services.
  • Contribute to the development and review of village budgets and financial performance.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, including medical providers and community groups.
  • Ensure the safety and quality of care for all residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Lead and drive key projects and new business opportunities.
  • Commission new Care Hubs.
  • Provide leadership and management to Care staff and ensure consistent application of RetireAustralia’s values and processes.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes and reporting requirements.

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) with current registration to practise with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 7 years’ post-graduate experience in aged/community/residential care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care and Home Care/ Support at Home legislation with capacity to apply towards the management of a Retirement Village.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial management.
  • Extensive team management experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (current or willing to obtain).
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (current).
