Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austria seeks a Secure Software Architect TPM to define and drive a TPM software stack across security applications. You will translate customer needs into architecture and ensure TPM 2.0 compliance with industry standards.

You will provide technical leadership, guide multi-site teams, and develop secure embedded software with a focus on quality, robustness, and certification readiness. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable field.
• 10+ years of embedded software development, software architecture, or secure product development.
• Hands-on embedded software development with complex stacks and secure update mechanisms.
• Knowledge of TPM 2.0 and Trusted Computing Group specs is desirable.
• Experience with Java Card operating systems or similar secure environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with security certifications (e.g., CC, FIPS) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ARM, RISC-V or other architectures.
• Strong cryptography and secure boot/attestation concepts.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and constraints into clear software architecture designs and concepts.
• Ensure compliance with TPM 2.0, TCG specs, and security certification requirements.
• Design and develop secure embedded TPM software with emphasis on quality and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance, architecture decisions, and design/code reviews to development teams.
• Monitor software quality and KPIs, driving actions to meet targets.
• Collaborate with system, SOC, and test architects to stay aligned on architecture.
