Responsibilities include sourcing Korean PDFs with multimodal elements, annotating structures, and transcribing Hangul with hanja. You will capture page metadata and ensure cross-validation by a second Korean expert.

Qualifications

• Native Korean speaker with Hangul and hanja.
• Experience in bilingual transcription or AI training data.
• Exact character-level accuracy.
• Systematic taxonomy application across pages.
• Comfort with multi-column layouts and handwritten forms.

Responsibilities

• Source Korean PDFs with multimodal elements and record sources.
• Annotate structure by bounding regions and assigning component types and reading-order indices.
• Record relationships by linking regions to parent components (figures, tables).
• Transcribe faithfully in Hangul, flag illegible regions.
• Capture page metadata, language, document type, source, dimensions, and handwriting/handwritten forms.
