Zusammenfassung

Deel is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Production Sandbox Reliability team. You will be the operational guardian for enterprise sandbox environments, ensuring stability, up-to-date systems, and strong monitoring in a globally distributed setup.

This role suits someone who thrives with high ownership, enjoys hands-on infra work, and wants to grow SRE skills while collaborating with engineering and customer-facing teams.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on with Node.js or Go.
• Experience with AWS services: EKS, S3, RDS.
• Kubernetes experience including Helm and ArgoCD.
• Observability stack experience: Datadog, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Zabbix.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter with focus on operational excellence.

Aufgaben

• Maintain reliability: monitor health of sandbox environments and ensure high availability across services.
• Roll out updates to microservices inside each sandbox to stay aligned with latest versions.
• Triage alerts and incidents with clear context; escalate to engineering teams as needed.
• Improve observability using Datadog and Grafana stack; identify gaps and improve alerting.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and drive follow-up actions.
• Bridge between internal engineering and customer-facing teams with timely incident updates.
• Participate in on-call rotation across APAC, EMEA and LATAM time zones.
