Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a senior procurement leader to build and scale a global procurement function. You will own strategy, supplier relationships, and cross-border negotiations across a fast-scaling international business.

You will partner with finance, product, and operations, establishing governance, metrics, and scalable processes to optimize spend while protecting service quality, reliability, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement leadership experience in fast-growing tech, scale-up, or dynamic environments.
• Proven track record building procurement functions, policies, and vendor management processes.
• Strong international contract negotiation experience with complex services.
• Skilled in financial analysis of supplier costs, pricing, and savings opportunities.
• Leadership capabilities with scalable process design and cross-functional influence.
• Strategic thinker balancing cost, quality, risk, and long-term objectives.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across product, finance, and operations.
• Experience in telecom, connectivity, or SaaS environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of international vendor compliance and cross-border operations is a plus.
• Proactive, commercially minded, autonomous leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global procurement strategy to support rapid international expansion.
• Negotiate high-value telecom and connectivity partnerships with favorable terms.
• Establish company-wide procurement policies, processes, and governance.
• Analyze and optimize global supplier spend without compromising service quality.
• Develop supplier performance metrics across 200+ destinations.
• Create scalable vendor management workflows and accountability mechanisms.
• Partner with finance, product, and operations to align procurement with business goals.
• Develop processes to handle increasing complexity and international growth.
• Provide strategic leadership on supplier risk and commercial opportunities.
• Position procurement as a strategic function that drives profitability and resilience.
