You will bridge theory and application through experimental research, designing, testing, and validating methods to understand degradation mechanisms and improve future asset reliability within a dynamic, global team.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in experimental physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Aufgaben

• Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects by focusing on physics of failure and designing experiments to study degradation and failure under realistic operating conditions.
• Develop novel experimental approaches to validate hypotheses and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with a global team of researchers and engineers across Hitachi Energy Research and business units to solve real-world reliability problems.
• Disseminate results through scientific publications, patent applications, and technical reports.
