Qualifikationen

• 5+ Jahre Erfahrung in Compliance, rechtlichen oder regulatorischen Angelegenheiten.
• Kenntnis der Finanzmarktaufsicht (FMA) und deren Regularien.
• Erfahrung mit MiFID II oder Zahlungseinrichtungen von Vorteil.

Über die Rolle

Als Regulatory & Legal Counsel bei 21bitcoin bist du die entscheidende Kraft bei der Navigation durch den MiCAR-Lizenzierungsprozess und führst die regulatorischen und rechtlichen Funktionen an. Mit deinem Fachwissen wirst du den regulatorischen und rechtlichen Ansatz in den Vordergrund stellen und 21bitcoin zu einem Vorzeigeunternehmen in der Kryptowährungs- und Bitcoin-Branche machen.

Aufgaben

• Take the lead in constructing and developing the legal and regulatory team.
• Formulate and execute a comprehensive regulatory strategy that aligns with the dynamics of the Crypto and Bitcoin industry.
• Guide the company through regulatory challenges, shaping the future of compliance and legal frameworks within the organization.
• Ensure high-standard reporting that meets the expectations of local regulators and auditors.
• Oversee and implement all aspects of the company's compliance and regulatory strategies.
• Define and implement company policies and guidelines in compliance and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with product and strategy teams to facilitate the creation of new products and guide the regulatory strategy.
• Lead the company's initiatives to achieve MiCAR compliance and manage related licensing procedures.
• Monitor ongoing regulatory developments, particularly those related to MiCAR and crypto-assets.
• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for licensing and registration processes.
• Define and implement company policies and guidelines in compliance and regulatory matters.
• Take charge of legal strategies, driving critical goals for continued growth.
• Manage data privacy and security matters, including policy implementation.

As a Regulatory & Legal Counsel at 21bitcoin, your mission is to adeptly lead the MiCAR licensing process, direct our regulatory strategies, and uphold legal excellence, thereby positioning 21bitcoin at the forefront of the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin industry's regulatory landscape. Your decisive actions will cultivate trust and establish our company as a benchmark for compliance and innovation.

Qualifikation

• Expertise in translating intricate legal and regulatory concepts into practical advice for a non-legal audience.
• Background in managing financial services licensing applications and direct engagement with regulatory bodies during these processes is a major plus.
• 5+ years in roles focusing on compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Financial Market Authority (FMA) and its regulations.
• Previous work in MiFID II, Security-Compliance, or Payment-/E-Money Institutions is major plus.
• Established legal background in a FinTech, financial services environment, or a prestigious law firm, particularly in corporate, transactional, M&A, or private fund sectors.
• Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet strict deadlines autonomously.
