Job summary

Celanese Gruppe is seeking a Regional Supply Planner – Engineered Materials to orchestrate long-range supply plans and coordinate regional demand with external partners. In this role, you will influence decisions across cross-functional teams, optimize material flow, and ensure alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a supply chain field, 4–6 years of S&OP experience, and strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• MBA, MS or related advanced degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in S&OP or supply chain planning.
• APICS or related certification preferred; strong analytical and communication skills.
• 2–3 years of experience in a SAP planning environment; leadership & presentation skills.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder).
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MS tools; chemical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a long-range supply plan at the regional level.
• Conduct long-term raw material planning in SAP and Blue Yonder.
• Optimize supply decisions to meet demand over a 24-month horizon.
• Coordinate regional demand and supply with external suppliers and ventures.
• Evaluate scenarios to maximize global and regional margin.
• Provide optimization output to master planners and commercial teams.
• Maintain supply planning master data in SAP and Blue Yonder.
• Contribute to S&OP meetings and drive improvements; track KPIs.

As the central orchestrator within our Engineered Materials business segment, you'll bridge cross-functional teams, influence key stakeholders, and translate complex supply dynamics into competitive advantage. Your strategic planning will directly enable customer success and fuel business growth.

Responsibilities

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

• Create and maintain a long-range supply plan at the business line / regional / monthly level
• Conduct long-terrn raw material planning, both in SAP and Advanced Planning System (BlueYonder)Optimize supply decisions to most efficiently / profitably meet demand over a 24 monthhorizon
• Coordinate regional demand and supply with external suppliers, tollers, and joint ventures
• Evaluate scenarios to ensure that global and regional margin is maximized
• Provide optimization output and global supply constraints to master production planners andcommercial organization
• Maintain supply planning related master data, both in SAP and Advanced Planning System(Blue Yonder) (e.g., stocking strategies, supply constraints)
• Provide input for S&OP meetings for long term planning horizons; provide recommendations tosupply chain and commercial leaders and potential plan improvementsTrack key performance indicators, conduct root-cause analysis Of issues, and drive continuousimprovement efforts

Qualifications

What YOU will bring to the team:

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field

• MBA, MS or related advanced degree preferred

• 4-6 years Of related experience in S&OP and/or supply chain planning

• APICS Or related certification preferred Strong analytical, problem solving and written/verbal communication skills

• Good leadership & presentation skills 2-3 years Of Experience working in a SAP planning environment

• Experience working in advanced planning systems preferred (e ,g , JDA/Blue Yonder)

• Proficiency in Excel, Power point and Microsoft Tools.

• Chemical industry experience preferred
