Company Description

As a Regional Service Manager (RSM) for EMEA, you will play a crucial role in driving service excellence across the region, ensuring consistent implementation of Anton Paar’s service standards, and supporting local service teams in delivering superior customer experiences. Acting as the interface between headquarters, subsidiaries, and partners, you will provide leadership, coordination, and strategic input to strengthen service operations throughout the EMEA network.

Job Description

  • Lead all service-related activities across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global service strategies and standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for subsidiaries, distributors, and key accounts, supporting the development and expansion of regional service organizations.
  • Implement and monitor the Corporate Service Standard (CSS), conducting regular audits and on-site visits to ensure consistent quality.
  • Analyse service KPIs and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Track market trends and competitor offerings to support the creation of innovative, future-ready service concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with National Service Managers and internal stakeholders on resource planning, technician development, and execution of service strategies.
  • Resolve escalated service issues and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular visits and proactive support.
  • Standardize service processes and materials across the region, while contributing to the development of cross-border service agreements with Key Account Management.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in service management within a high-tech industrial environment.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-country service operations and remote teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German and other language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAP (CRM, ERP) and Microsoft Office tools; CRM know-how is especially important.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% within the EMEA region.

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4,500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
