Your Future Responsibilities

As an R&D Process Engineer, you will take on challenging and responsible tasks with corresponding decision-making scope. You will work independently across all required activities, continuously expand your skill set, and contribute to the growing success of the team.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Ownership of electroplating equipment and processes within a semiconductor R&D FAB
  • Manage the ramp-up and qualification of a new electroplating tool
  • Develop and optimize new electroplating processes
  • Ensure stable equipment operation and process performance
  • Collaborate closely with research teams within SAL to fabricatestate-of-the-art research vehicles

Your profile

  • Minimum BSc degree in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Process Engineer (excluding university education or postdoctoral research)
  • Proven hands-on experience with equipment operation and process development in a cleanroom environment
  • Solid expertise in electroplating processes; experience in process development is a strong advantage
  • Additional experience in other process engineering areas, especially CMP, is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a creative approach to developing innovative solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Willingness to relocate to Austria
