We are seeking an experienced Quality & Assurance Manager to champion clinical governance and continuous improvement across our Residential Aged Care facilities (RACF).

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Manager Residential Services (EMRS) and working closely with our Leadership Team, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and legislative requirements. This is your opportunity to lead a committed quality team, foster a culture of service excellence, and support our residents to live with dignity, choice, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities include:

Develop, support, and assist with the delivery of clinical governance and quality management systems.

Ensure the provision of high levels of safe and effective clinical care to all residents.

Finalise the external complaints response in collaboration with General Managers and the Clinical Quality Coordinators.

Submission of NMQIP data for the organisation.

Monitoring and evaluating the features of clinical care by coordinating and conducting frequent audits and reviews.

Attend the industry related webinars and seminars and update EMRS regarding the upcoming changes.

Create, Review and Update the policy and procedures as per the industry standards.

Uphold continuous improvement and coordinate effective completion and evaluation of audit and review results.

Trend the monthly clinical indicator data, identify the theme of improvement and communicate with the clinical leadership team.

Reporting, tracking, and developing overall clinical governance and quality management systems.

Chair the Quality Advisory Body Meeting.

Lead the re-accreditation application process and self-assessment for RACFs.

Provide leadership and direction to the Quality Team to ensure high levels of service, competency, and staff morale.

About You

For this appointment, Warrina Homes is seeking a seasoned Clinical professional with a strong people-centred focus. We encourage candidates with the following experience and skill set to apply:

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Aged Care sector with a strong understanding of compliance and quality systems.

Proven experience in clinical governance, accreditation processes, and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in digital systems and clinical documentation.

Empathy with the Christian mission and values of Warrina Homes.

Valid driver’s licence, own transport, and satisfactory police clearance (or willing to obtain).

Previous experience in a similar role or as a Director of Nursing in Aged Care is desirable.
