As a Quality Assurance Expert you are an important member of our (remote) project team. Because we value your analytical skills, your area of responsibility should not be limited to testing. We want your perspective to be involved in feature design and requirements gathering before implementation - because we know from experience that we benefit from this as a team!

In close cooperation with the whole team (Development as well as PO/PM) you ensure the high quality of our releases and can contribute to the continuous improvement of our products through your proactive suggestions.

Your profile

You know common methodological approaches for software testing

You have experience with testing complex web applications in a - sometimes - decoupled architecture

You can understand business requirements and formulate them as test scenarios and test cases

You can estimate the duration of tests and know how to document their results

You know that POST has nothing to do with letters and you bring experience in testing APIs and practical knowledge of tools like Postman, Jmeter and SoapUI

You have basic knowledge in BDD, JSON and SQL

You have already gained several years of experience in a QA position

You have experience working in an agile environment

You are fluent in written and spoken English

You live no more than 4 time zones away from Central European Standard Time

Nice to have

Experience with tools and products like Confluence and Jira - to write the stories you'll be testing yourself

Practical experience in the implementation of test automation

Hands-on experience working on projects with mobile technologies (iOS and Android).

Zoological knowledge (or the will to google) to be able to actively participate in the naming of releases

For legal reasons, we are obliged to state the minimum salary of the IT collective agreement applicable in Austria in the amount of € 2,518 gross/month (full-time basis) (experience level ST1). Of course, we offer an overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and experience.
